Melodies, thoughts, words, chords, MUSIC, is a part of what we breathe, and to me, songwriting is just a matter of putting those pieces together, turning it into something that can be digested by the human mind. I am blessed to have discovered this as a young girl, as a way of expressing myself and also getting to know myself, and the bigger world around me. Raised by the forests and lakes of Sweden, that is where my heart lies. But the world is too big for a girl to stay in one place, and that thing called adventure, desire, or exploration, has led me to places like Boston, Los Angeles, Malmö, and presently New York. I believe I write music that reflects my journeys, be it the climbing of a tree in my backyard or a night of loneliness on the streets of NYC.
