The Glasgow Grendel Army was created in 2007 at Dark City by 4 girls who thought it would be a great idea to all dress in camo for Grendel performing. Shortly after came the nickname The "Glasgow Grendel Army" by Lyn along with the battle cry "Mussel and Steak" and "Here we, here we, here we fuckin' go!" We all love our EBM & industrial music and can be found on the dance floor at Bedlam, Flux and Cryotec (or in Lyn's case, sometimes behind the decks too)or at the bar downing shots with the best of them.

Each of us are also talented performers and models in the alternative scene (Photo shoots, Live themed performances and Poi to name three)

Our Members are:
  • Lindsay "Spaced Out" Shields
  • Janine "I feel better when I have a pen" Ballantyne
  • Lyn "DJ MoneyPenny" Sedgeworth
  • Emmz "Where is my skirt?" Jones
  • My Interests

Music!, dancing, clothes (Between all of us we have far too many!), Good zombie movies, Video games, Books, Bad TV, Good TV, EBM, mad make-up, Doctor Who (Lindz and Lyn)

    I'd like to meet:

    About Us:

Janine: The closest to a level headed member we're ever going to get. Model (MissLuna) and Student, Janine was driven mad at Dark City by everyones constant use of the word face after a persons name (Especially by Lindsay.)She likes good friends, good music and a good Long vodka. Fuckwits will not be tolerated.
Most Likely to be found: Out in the smoking section

Lindsay: The smallest in comparison to the other members as well as being the youngest has done nothing to hold Lindz back in the clubbing stakes. A video games addict who could happily sit and play her Xbox 360 for hours. She also loves the TV show Spaced and can be seen many a night doing the 'A-Team' dance after one too many Malibu and Orange.
Most Likely to be found: Wrestling in the Bedlam lobby

Lyn: Complete nutcase and that's why we love her. Lyn is a DJ who goes by the name Moneypenny and hosts her own EBM radio show called Digital Domination for Subcity radio on a Saturday night! Loves to shout random things and loves to do the 'A-team' dance alongside Lindz. Whatever scares the locals...
Most likely to be found: Behind the decks playing decent tunes

Emma: Last but not least we come to the Non-Glaswegian member of the army. For the weekend that was Dark City Emmz was as Glaswegian as we could make her (Although the accent still remained.) She drinks, she dances and she's Welsh but we won't hold that against her ;)
Most likey to be found: Dread-whipping someone on the dance floor...In Wales.
This MySpace page is maintained By Lindsay, Janine and Lyn

    Music:

Oh christ...where to start? Grendel (Obviously), Amduscia, Combichrist, Modulate, VNV Nation, Icon of Coil, Painbastard, Assemblage23, Voodoo& Serano, ACDC, Rob Zombie, Biffy Clyro, Apoptygma Berzerk, Fear Factory, The Prodigy, Garbage, Bif Naked, Blondie, A Perfect Circle, Motorhead, The Darkness, Orgy, The Wildhearts (Lindz gets a smack over the back of the head...), Killswitch Engage and anything else they decide to play at Bedlam/Flux/Cryotec...

    Movies:

Any good zombie film (No, don't let the fuckers go...Shoot them!), The Fifth Element, The Boondock Saints, Shaun of the Dead, Reservoir Dogs, Labyrinth, Kung Fu Hustle, Con Air, Star Wars..to mention just a few.

    Television:

Doctor Who, Spaced, The Mighty Boosh, The It Crowd, Peep Show, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. Generally the TV sits on a music channel and it stays there (Lindz.)
