About Me

Welcome to the Instrumental Alchemy MySpace Music Page!Sure, the holy trinity is still comics, motorcycles & music, but I have to keep in check that I'm a drummer first and a big fan of the others. What happens when a drummer gets bored? He picks up a guitar. Finds a place to plug it in, and then plays like he stole it (and also needs more lessons). Proud owner of a Limited Edition BC Rich Mockingbird (number 44 of 100 - and the guitar reminds me of Spider-Man, so there) , and need reasons to use it (if anyone can find me number 33 of this guitar model - PLEASE LET ME KNOW!). This is the best I can do, left to my own devices.Love all drums, but especially SONOR drums. And Istanbul Sultan Cymbals! Love recording too. At home, with a Mac. And by that I mean the Mac computer and the Mac person! Susan McCormick (Mac) Braun is the official lead guitar player of Instrumental Alchemy (and legally my wife!). Most of my material has a rather pedestrian, sterile feel to it until Susan gets involved and works her magic. Instant melody and life, Susan’s contributions are integral to the audio on this page. I like to think that the contrast of our personal styles and approach actually inspires and influences the other. I’m also very influenced by nearly all things comic related (as you can tell by glancing over my page). Actually, I have started to generate original music in regards to a character (or characters) that I really like or am interested in. That said, feel free to send me some tips on a character that you think deserves a special theme! If I’m into that character too, I just might work something out! Feel free to check out some of the great comic character-tribute pages of my MySpace Friends, there’s some really good stuff out there. The combination of original audio and comics is cool! The results of my villain/hero profiler exam - TAKE THE TEST!My results:
