NEW EP: STREETHEROES - Coming Soon

About Me

Life, my dear is like wine. And how can you taste its sweetness if the whole bloody world tells you it s bitter. We'd say, try it anyway, after all isn't sin the virtue of the glamourous?

Now music, you know, is just like the rest of the world. Its full of anxious people, afraid of doing anything different. We say, why would you care about them, why would you look at them at all. Make this world your own. Why? Because you only live once, there's no heaven, there's no hell, this is it. So you better make it a good time.

In other words, welcome to the profile of Lovecult .

Holland, as we all know, has weedfarms as far as you can see and there is a prostitute of on the corner of every street. obviously we buy our drugs at the grocery store. No, not realy, holland is a boring country as any other. The boys of the streets over here work just as hard as you to get their kicks.

In the begining of the summer of 2007 three rebel rockers, decided true rock n roll needed to return. and they started LoveCult.

Paris Vanity started his career in music as an angry teenager without a haircut, intoxicated by the splendour of rock 'n' roll music. He handled his guitar like a machine gun, in a sweet revolution of love and sex. He did the usual round of teenage garage bands before concluding none of them worked. Rock 'n' roll was dead, dead in the minds of music industry's big shots. The world needs a revolution, the great return of rock 'n' roll music. Paris found his drummer in his roommate, Nicky Valentine, who allready was a style conscious proto rock 'n' roll star. He needed only to wipe the dust of his drumkit. Chris wanted to join the band too. He had such a strange taste for clothes, which made him the perfect bass player for the band except one small thing, he didn't play bass. Next day he bought a bass, and the band was ready rock. LoveCult is now preparing to launch their first small tour, so you might see them on stage in the near future.

28-02-08 Iggy Velvet: new guitarist in LoveCult!

Iggy is best described as a small, blonde, bouncy “thing” with an appetite for outrageousness. We’re still rehearsing our asses of but soon you’ll be able to see her on stage with us.
A second guitarist give Paris the opportunity to focus more on vocally abusing your ears. And it gives Nicky and Chris something interesting to look.
