About Me

DAN-LOVE,Dan started playing at 18 with electric bass lessons and upright in college. Around this time as a beginner, a friend that was a blues guitarist took him under his wing and took Dan to his first open blues jam. The jam consisted of Lean on Me and Stand on me. How disappointing. Then after a while made and impact playing a jam in queens under aged but was alowd a bass solo for come together. While in college he met his first band, Ravel. Dan then decided to join the military.
Later on in the Navy, Dan never gave up. While on a cruise, Dan found other sailors at a port for a one night only Bahrain Jam at a Ramada Inn consisting of playing for a room full of locals and the captain of his boat.
While in the Navy, he lived in Jacksonville where he played open jams. At this point he found a band called the Relics. Again Dan had to leave and left for Orlando for a degree in recoding arts at Full Sail Real World Education. In Orlando he played for a traveling open Jam directed by Dave "Stray Cat". Dave gave Dan numerous oppourtunities to prove himself against some of the most experienced blues players in Orlando. In this process Dan was able to learn more and more about playing and gain that much more experience. Dan was offered many band spots as a bassplayer, but he knew he had to go back to New York.
Finally graduating, and a 2 year down time in New York, Dan developed a new determination Now at the age of 29, he sets out for a band of close and personal friends. Each of which have a huge variety in music, playabillity and talent, 6 on Sunday. GINSU-JIM,Dave has been involved in music almost 15 years. Dave started off young on percusion and moved on from there. Dave eventually began playing drums for the local LI band Tangent. They played together for a number of years but eventually disbanded as the members went their seperate ways.
Dave then moved on to play percusion for Main Street Myth another local band. It was during this time that Ginsu Jim was born. After a couple of years Main Street Myth also disbanded. During the time that followed Dave continued to jam with various other musicians before hooking up with Dan, Tonez, and Uncle Salty. UNCLE SALTY,In 1990 a crack guitar commando was sent to prison by a military court for a crime he didn't commit. This man promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the New York underground. Today, still wanted by the government, he survives as a Guitar soldier of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire: "Uncle Salty."DJ TONEZ,For over 10 years Tony has been part of the music scene.
