About Me

Coming of Age was born in this minds of James Copeland, Drew Brown, and Chris Adams in early 2004. In 2006 they saw the visions they had for a rock band come together in the form of Coming of Age. Not often do you find a band with the dynamic combo of meaningful lyrics with a catchy, almost infectious hook, but these guys have just that. You will definitely find yourself tapping your steering wheel to the beat and humming a chorus after seeing these guys in concert.Coming of Age views everything they do as a band in a ministry sense. These guys understand that God has blessed them with everything they have in life and are trying to communicate that to the rest of the world. You will find that in their lyrics as they write songs about issues that are facing Christians daily. Having served locally in churches as youth workers for the last six years the guys have seen first hand what Christians in a wide variety of age groups are dealing with day to day. You can be sure that when you bring Coming of Age to your event you are getting a group of guys who have music relevant for today's Christians, music that sounds good enough for today's non-Christian, and that they know how to minister both on and off the stage.Coming of Age would be a great band to bring out for almost any type of event.
