Soundline Productions is a dynamic, community minded arts organisation in which ‘the arts’ are encouraged to grow in rural communities. This Non-Profit organisation has artistic directors, not to mention a growing extended family of volunteers. We are getting ready to stage a new festival…. Soundlines Music Festival in Blinman, Flinders Ranges, SA.The festival intends to unite people, through beats…. contemporary and traditional dance....with musical treats and aesthetic bliss! Enveloping the soul within culture, movement and awesome sound! Music styles will encompass dub; reggae, d&b, breaks, electronic, folk and world music; these styles will blend with a combination of traditional Adnyamathanha instruments [the boomerang and the music sticks] and performers.Sound represents the frequency of music, the voices of this ancient land through the animals and its’ people. The lines bring people from all around the world and unite them in a celebration of dance, music and culture. Let us share the experience ….be entertained…..be inspired…. make a difference to the lives of people in need.In March ‘09 [official date TBA] on red dust and shattered rock you will stand upon the oldest mountain range in the world. These ancient lands filled with rich colours, carved out by Gondwala [the Rainbow Serpent] will be the stage for phat beats, yummy bush food treats and traditional and contemporary dance!Our profits will be used to fund and support projects that focus on developing ‘the arts’. Giving rural people an opportunity to learn and enjoy ‘the arts’ and improving their lifestyle. An artist contacts database will link artists in a creative web of collaboration and satisfaction.
