Singer since 1995 . Started after winning a TV Contest "Stars in your eyes"(1995) She represented Portugal at the Eurovision song Contest in 1998 after winning "Festival da CanÃ§Ã£o"(1998).In birmingham she reached 12th place. (1997 and 2000). She has 2 released albums by BMG. She is preparing the 3th one but now she found her way with a fusion of portuguese roots and contemporary. She Performed in various musical theatre shows(also with Filipe La FÃ©ria the best director in portugal) as well as tv shows , shows around the country and also for the Portuguese Comunities. Now she works as a resident singer at RTP ( "Portugal no CoraÃ§Ã£o" and "PraÃ§a da Alegria). She has her own shows but non with original songs. She also sings Fado de Coimbra and performed in Spain, Holland(utrecht),Canada , Italy , etc.....

Influences: At the moment she is singing the classics of the portuguese music. Old Beatiful songs of Great composers and performers . But Her interests are basically the roots of the various cultures and so she is choosing a musical way where she can show a bit more of the portuguese roots and culture. "Se eu te pudesse abraÃ§ar" (eurovision song contest) was recorded in 1998 and shows a bit of portuguese culture. She is influenced by world music (nitin sawhney, ojos de brujo, romeniam gypsy music; yousso n'dor ,etc) ,Soul , R&B, Fado.
Sounds Like: Preparing the new show for 2008 based on the Portuguese Roots. Performing around the country with the Portuguese Classics , also as a new show named "Flor(es) sem tempo" ( with special guest VÃtor de Sousa ) , and singing at Tv Show PraÃ§a da alegria.
