Good heavens, baby where is my medicine?

About Me

Overall, I'm pretty eccentric. That aside, I am currently a SENIOR Digital Communications major at this tiny dumpster known as Lebanon Valley College. I have a minor in music, and held the title as the first female guitar major at LVC. I've been molesting a guitar for about 15 years now, and I have a a lot of bandanas. I wear them almost everyday, so it's become a trademark. Eh, whatever.

On Friday nights you'll find me sipping a stiff beverage, grooving to Steely Dan, and experimenting with computer design languages... I'm a party.Home | Browse | Search | Invite | Film | Mail | Blog | Favorites | Forum | Groups | Events | Videos | Music | Comedy | Classifieds

My Interests

Playing guitar, accumulating blackmail, occasional drumming, web design, programming, flash, graphic design, modern art and design, stalking the neighbors, and studying the art of sarcasm.

I'd like to meet:

Other species of the primate family Hominidae, though occasional android/humanoid exceptions are made.

Music:

Mostly classic rock... but a healthy blend of most rock in general. A few include The Black Crowes, REO Speedwagon, Brandi Carlile, my beloved Stevie Ray Vaughan, Back Door Slam, Steely Dan, Dire Straits, Alice in Chains, The Honorary Title, Prince, Amos Lee...

Other favorites include (but are certainly not limited to): Live, Fleetwood Mac, Back Door Slam, Dismemberment Plan, Gin Blossoms, Silvertide, Aerosmith, Player, Orleans, The Stones, Styx, Jonny Lang, Iron Maiden, Strike Anywhere, The Early November, Robert Randolph, Rise Against, Audio Karate, Less Than Jake, Journey, The Honorary Title, Death Cab for Cutie... plenty more, but you get the idea.

For reference- If I were to be annoying and embed music in this page it would be Michael Jackson's "Beat It."

Movies:

On the more serious and dramatic side: Requiem for a Dream, Garden State, Donnie Darko, Psycho (ORIGINAL ONLY), and The Fugitive (seriously...).

My inner child (who tends to dominate) enjoys Willy Wonka, Disney's Robin Hood, The Sword in the Stone, Treasure Planet, Pirates of the Caribbean, Aladdin.I also have a collection of Live Music DVDs of my favorite artists. Love me some live music....

Television:

Anything with Wilford Brimley, Walker Texas Ranger, Dr. Phil, Law & Order (SVU and CI), Family Guy, Gilmore Girls, Gray's Anatomy.

Books:

While I generally prefer picture books, I did enjoy 1984 and Fahrenheit 451. I also treasure my physics book (yeah, it's like that).

Heroes:

Stevie Ray Vaughan. But ultimately, my Daddy.
