Fan occasionally writes about art and those troublesome homosexuals. He has performed in numerous bands, including Maison Crimenaux with Patrick Wolf, and was a founding member of NO BRA, writing songs and performing with Susanne. Since abandoning the stage, (we shall see how long that lasts) he has contributed to numerous art journals and interviewed artists including Jonathan Meese, Seb Patane and Sonia Boyce. Fan has also co-curated several exhibitions, including 'The Empress Tea Room' a show of live art during which he presented the work of Bonnie Camplin of Cabinet and Ludovica Gioscia. In September 2007, he delivered a talk on sexiness and stupidity, and screened the film 'Inches', made with Susanne (which can be seen below), at FormContent, a project space in London. Among other publications he has written for the Arteatro pages of Exibart, and the art pages of Art'o and the Athens-based Velvet magazine. These many and varied activities have lead artist Enrico David to suggest that Fan be renamed 'the double-ended menace'. Recently Fan commisioned a new work from the artist Sandrine Nicoletta, to appear as a tattoo on his forearm. The tattoo is of the word 'More' in Nicoletta's signature font and was realised by Tota, of the Happy Sailor tattoo parlour. An interview covering Fan's most recent projects will appear soon in Italy's 'The End Magazine'. Despite all this, his only true ambition is to look like Moira Orfei.
