I am here for Friends

About Me

The 3nd year of medical school begins! Yeee haw.

Being a 3rd year medical student on the clinics is being the lowest of the low. You are the most unskilled and least helpful person. In fact, sometimes you make people's lives harder, like when you mix up the one handed sterile gloves with the two handed sterile gloves. You fight for attention, fight for somebody to notice that you are still alive and present, waiting. Waiting for somebody to give you a chance, teach you something, challenge you with a task. You leap for joy at being assigned the most menial of duties. After all, if you keep reminding them that you are there and are actually being helpful, maybe you'll get to do something BIGGER and more exciting. And, ofcourse, try to get a good evaluation so you can apply to some kick ass residency afterwards. Yee haw.

In medical school, you will FORGET information more than most people ever LEARN in their lifetime.

My Interests

hula and Tahitian dance, ballroom/social dance, horseback riding, running, striving to make a positive difference in my community, taking a warm shower, putting on nice smelling body lotion, contemplating the meaning of life...
And hanging out with friends is always cool too.

My highschool girls

My Stanford Luau days

My Polynesian MIT Dancetroupe girls

I'd like to meet:

Someone who knows how to waltz (rotary and cross step), swing, tango, cha cha, salsa, merengue, club two step, rumba, schottische, polka, one step, hustle and can keep up with me. And yes, I know PLENTY people who can fit this :)

I want to meet someone with a sense of humor. Someone who sees the world in a different light, and can offer me a glimpse into this unique lens. I want to meet someone who will challenge me, teach me something new, shake my foundations, make me laugh, bring me joy, make me cry and despair... showing me just how broad the spectrum of human emotions run.

I'd like to meet my Matty up here in Boston more often... (or even more, hell I'd like to go HOME more often!)

Salsa Performance Rehearsal

Tahitian Dance Performance

Music:

Hawaiian music, swing music, waltz music, salsa music, hustle music... something I can dance to. Something that takes more brains that just booty.
