About Me

I love the ocean... surf, kayak... probably my favorite two, but I'm just happy to be near it. I love sunsets and warm rain. And, I love playing cards. Poker is a passion, but any game with multiple players will really do... Hearts, Spades, Rich Man-Poor Man, and Uker are some of my other favorites. Matthew 6:25-26 is my favorite scripture... it really keeps me sane.25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Hawaii, kayaking, surfing, the ocean, Sand in my car, basketball, traveling, dollar movies at Restaurant Row, home game poker, online poker, casino poker, winning, artsy stuff, loving, hawaiian people, great friends, Anna-Tia-Nani, Twilight and her next sibling on the way, different cultures, fantasy football, DETROIT SPORTS... Lions, Tigers, Pistons, and Red Wings, the University of Michigan Wolverines, University of Hawaii Warriors...

Music:

Whatever. I like most everything. 80's music, Christian rock and whatever Hawaiian favorites they play on 105.1 are currently at the top of my list. I don't much care for Rap these days... The new age stuff is just too synthetic and materialistic for me.

Television:

Reality trash... *flip* poker... *flip* sports... *flip* zzzzzz...

Books:

the bible! David and Jesus are my favorite people in the bible to read about. Any poker book... namely, super system 1&2, The little green and blue books, Poker Tells by Mike Caro, Book of Bluffs, Ace on the River, and I actually liked Moneymakers book. Play Poker Like the Pros by Phil Helmuth was a pretty good book to start with. I'd like to read the cross and the switchblade... gotta get around to picking that up.I'm currently reading... Cash Games volume one by Dan Harrington. *Cha* Loving it!!!
