The bible is the living word of God, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says 'All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.' I believe without having the bible as part of our daily lives, we can never be adequate and equipped for the good work that God has purposed us to do.
