Fusion

When the two guys met, they went by the names “DJ Distex” and “Dave Baker”. It was rather skepticism than friendship that tied them together. They did not really like each other and had very high opinions of their own skills. At a DJ convention in Germany it was unavoidable to cross each other’s way. Finally, they realized that their styles and liking for rather hard electronic beats would build a foundation for a common project: Fusion was born. Fusion exists since 2005. The name stands for mixing different styles of different genres: melodies and beats of Trance segments combined with the shrill sounds and demanding base lines of Tech-House. “One shouldn’t make any compromises when it comes to music, especially if you love and celebrate it. No matter what people say! Your style should only consist of things you like. And not of anything that people want you to do.” In their sets you can feel the energy, which is spread through vinyl onto the crowd, may it be through their own productions, like “Freakquence”, or through records like “Always a Fool” and “Should’ve know”, ec.
