Myles Hie bio information: Having spent the last 15 years immersed deep in the electronic dance music scene, Myles has been involved in every aspect of the underground dance community. First as a 16 year old club kid, then as a DJ and promoter, and now as a producer and engineer, Myles feeds off of the energy and excitement of electronic dance music and its culture. Myles grew up in South Florida and was introduced to the electronic dance sound from an early age. From the legendary Power 96 radio mix shows showcasing "Free Style" to the infamous sounds of "Miami Bass", the seeds were being planted in young Myles' mind for a future in electronic music.After the 1997 Winter Music Conference, Myles suddenly found himself with a bunch of records, slip mats, a new record bag, and an undeniable hunger to get behind the decks. This hunger manifested itself to become an obsession for him. Hours upon hours of fine tuning his sound has led to what is now known as "Ass Shakin' Funk", Myles signature brand of dance music.Not only does his talent show through in his mixing and producing skills, he has an incredible ability to move the crowd. His unique style has won him several residencies throughout the Central Florida area, guest appearances and quite a following! Having opened and shared the stage with artists such as DJ Craze, Hybrid, DJ Dan, Josh The Funky 1, Seb Fontaine, AK1200, Infiniti, James Zabiela, Baby Anne, Dieselboy, Sandra Collins, Onionz, Deekline, Rogue Element, Kelly Reverb and many more, Myles has diversity that is unparalleled when it comes to crossing over genres. For those who haven't heard, a Myles Hie DJ set is like no other! A funky trip through bangin' basslines, hard hitting drums and tweaked out effects, guaranteed to get those asses shakin!
