About Me

Back in My Space, after a looong hiatus!I'm all about trying new things and always up for a party or a trip either locally or overseas. By day I'm supposed to be a stuck-up professional, which I consistently fail miserably at; while by night I'm all about leading a regular life of going out and having a good time or playing catchup with TiVo. Incidentally, I'm about two weeks behind on that . . . Let's see, what else to tell. I've been in L.A. about 6 years going on 7. I came from New York and, like most New Yorkers just hated L.A. for all of two or three years. I kind of dig the weather now. My accent? I dunno. Only about 3 people in my whole life have guessed it correctly. So I'll leave that one for you. As you are reading this, stop and consider for a moment that right now your shoulders are probably swaying to the beat of that little ditty I have playing on the background, no? Just came back from Burning Man . . not only in one piece, but with the entire intention of doing it again! Man, was that an experience. The only shitty part was the long haul drive in an RV. They just don't drive like a sporty two seater. I'll keep adding stuff as I think of any more relevant stuff to put in here.

My Interests

Massage Therapy. I love it so much I actually went to school and scored 150 hours just for shits and giggles. Maybe I should've learned cooking. Or photography. But my dates keep insisting I made the right choice. What to do, what to do.******************** Out of the path music parties. Things without velvet ropes held in the industrial wastelands of Downtown L.A. or in the lush open spaces of a forest, or on the dry and dusty desolation of the desert.

I'd like to meet:

The librarian in the video above! *** Cool, positive, educated people. If you are into House music, that's a bonus! I guess to deal with me you will probably have to be non-judgemental. People who've got their lives together to the point they're happy with it are welcome. People who can think of the need of other people to the same degree as they can think of themselves are even more welcome. And people who don't mind chilling at home with homemade dinners once in a while and will get the heck out of the house and find a good place with good drinks and better music! Also, someone with writing as part of their career would be nice. I need someone to proofread some stuff I'm writing!

Music:

Ambient, Deep and Progressive House, Psy-Trance, Nick Warren, Danny Howells, Gus Gus vs T-World, Sasha, Amon Tobin even, Sander Kleinenberg and their ilk with a smattering of Crystal Method and Deep Dishes on the side. Refer to the music coming from that little music player thing above, but make sure you listen past the first minute or so . . . ***** Before my conversion, I was, and still am, a devout follower of alternative rock (that's the 90's), Smashing Pumpkins (Gish and Siamese Dream, only), Nirvana, Pearl Jam . . .

Television:

Scrubs. Ironically this show might actually be the most realistic presentation of actual day to day medical life.

THAT'S IT, I'M DONE WITH MACS!

I can't believe the freaking unreadable AND grade school looking gibberish that came out as the font on my page when I chose it though Safari.  Looked fine in Safari and Firefox.  But in IE....
