I appreciate drama films, but if I really want drama I just have to leave my apartment each morning. To me, movies should be an escape from everyday life.
Television:
Chapelle's Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy and almost anything on the Discovery Channel and the Learning Channel.
Books:
Books are one of the greatest inventions of all time! I can spend hours and hours perusing the shelves of a bookstore. I love anything from Fiction to Historical, to "How To" books. Some of my favorites are "the Prophet", "Wuthering Heights", "Hero with a Thousand Faces", "A Brief History of Time", "The DaVinci Code", "Angels and Demons", "The Expert at the Card Table", "Under a Black Flag", "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" and "The Vampire Lestat" Everyone is telling me that "The Alchemist" is great so I'll have to check it out.
Heroes:
My Parents, who have always supported me through thick and thin and helped me realize that it's good to be a little different (even though they are pretty normal), Jim Henson, Peter Jackson, Walt Disney, Jon Lasseter, Stan Winston, Ridley Scott, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Leonardo DaVinci, and anyone who has faced adversity and overcome it.
