This portion could go on forever! LOL!
I am here to get more information on fibromyalgia that will hopefully help me get well. In the mean time, I am keeping busy with my three boys and hamstery. I breed Syrian hamsters. This hobby takes up a lot of time, but it keeps me moving, which is also very important! Our home also houses 2 dog, 2 cats, 4 rats and 5 ferrets.
I enjoy fantasy and science fiction in literature, as well as movies and TV. Though I find myself watching and reading more about ancient civilizations, religions, myths, etc. I would like to write my own novel someday, but I keep putting it off..... someday!
I would love to meet people from all over with many interests. I, of course would like to meet others with fibro, but I also have other interest that I could see benefitting from a site like this.Take a look at my interests and you might be surprised by the mish mosh!
I love all kinds of music, though I do find many rap songs irritating. I listen mostly to classic rock, but often listen to classical music to relax.
There's too many...though Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter have to be at the top of the list.
I did not have cable to 18 months, and in many ways I did not miss it! Now that we are again subscribed, I find my taste in television is a bit different than it was 2 years ago. I am still a sci-fi fan, and I am glad we now have cable to see the last season of SG-1 and of course there's Battlestar Galactica. But other than that, I am having a hard time getting into anything else sci-fi offers. The show I am catching up with the repeats on A&E is the series '24'. I can see why it is such a popular show. I won't watch the new ones though...I am still catching up, an am content with that for now.
Mostly Science Fiction and fantasy! Lord of the Rings and the Pern series are a couple favorites. I enjoy the Harry Potter books, but I get tired of reading them after I have finished the second book in a matter of two weeks or so. I go back to them after taking a break.
