A.I.D. nace el año 2005 en Barcelona debido a la voluntad de sus miembros de embarcarse en un nuevo proyecto con un estilo diferente, más agresivo, del que practicaban en sus anteriores bandas. Tras unos meses de ensayos, A.I.D. graba lo que será su primera demo, Terror Starts at Home, compuesta por cinco temas de hardcore melódico agresivo y rápido, que presentan durante varios meses en directo dándose a conocer en la escena local. Tras varios meses escribiendo nuevos temas para lo que sería su primer álbum, Sergi, voz principal y guitarra, decide dejar la banda para dedicarse íntegramente a su nuevo grupo, Molokai. Eso significa un duro golpe para el resto porque muchas horas de trabajo se pierden y hay que empezar de nuevo desde el principio. Tras mucho buscar encuentran en Omar, un antiguo amigo, la solución que buscaban para las voces y en René (Los Tronchos, Beside Yourself) el recambio perfecto a la guitarra. A.I.D. se ponen a trabajar duro en los temas para su nuevo disco, Live To Tell, que graban en junio del 2007 en Wheel Sound Studio y es masterizado por Alan Douches (Thrice, Sick of it all, Against me!) en West West Sound (USA). Los 12 cortes que componen el disco significan un nuevo rumbo en cuanto a sonido, ampliando sus horizontes e influencias, logrando un disco ecléctico que combina melodías, técnica, velocidad y rabia a partes iguales. El disco es acogido con ilusión por The Time Threat Records y será editado a principios del 2008. Pero otro inconveniente surge: Oriol, guitarra solista debe abandonar la banda por motivos de trabajo. El grupo queda fuertemente dañado por su marcha repentina y por unos instantes se plantean tirar la toalla, pero la ilusión de presentar en directo Live To Tell y la amistad que les une, hace que una vez más logren sobreponerse, conseguir un nuevo guitarrista, Toni (One Foot), y prepararse para presentar el disco durante los próximos meses por toda la península junto a This is a Standoff y Actionmen.

A.I.D. Was born in Barcelona in 2005 as a result of their member's desire to embark on a new project with a more aggressive sound than that of their former bands. After a few months of rehearsals, A.I.D recorded their first demo, Terror Starts at Home. Consisting of five fast-paced, aggressive melodic hardcore songs, this demo, along with several months of live shows, earned them a name in the local scene. After dedicating some months to write new songs for their first album, Sergi - main voice and guitar – left the band in order to work full-time on his other project, Molokai. This implied many hours of hard work were lost and A.I.D had to start again from the beginning.After a long search, the band found in Omar, an old friend, and René (Los Tronchos, Beside Yourself) the solution they needed for the vocals and guitar, respectively. A.I.D were now ready to work on their new album, Live To Tell, recorded in June 2007 at Wheel Sound Studio and mastered by Alan Douches (Thrice, Sick Of It All, Against Me!) at West West Sound (USA). The 12 tracks that make up the album mark a change of sound, widening their horizons and influences to achieve an eclectic mix that combines melody, technical expertise, speed and rage in equal measure.The Time Threat Records happily agree to release the album at the beginning of 2008, but another difficulty stands on A.I.D.'s way: work forces Oriol, lead guitar, to leave the band. This sudden loss damages the band greatly and, for a second, A.I.D. consider throwing the towel, but the strong friendship between its members and the excitement of touring in support of the new album gives them strength to get over it, find a new guitar player – Toni (One Foot) – and get ready to tour all over Spain with This is a Standoff and Actionmen.
