Band Members: "The Lord is my rock and fortress and my deliverer"MY GOD,MY STRENGH,IN WHOM I WILL TRUST,MY SHIELD AND THE HORN OF MY SALVATION,MY STRONGHOLD." Psalm 18:2
Influences: Boe first began his journey in the streets of Spanish Harlem in early 1988 where he found his love for DJ'ing, MC'ing, break dancing and graffiti and the true art of Hip Hop."I loved it since Beat Street, Crush Groove and Electric Boogalou."-BoeHe first picked up his pen and wrote and performed his first rap song while in junior high school where he teamed up with three classmates. As the industry became more and more commercial with artist like Run DMC paving the way, the more focused Boe became. He was guided and mentored by his close friend, "Tang Boogie" who he would later join as a co-host for "In Da Hood Videos."Boe officially started recording demos in the early 90's. He hooked up with a Smith Royal teammate from the Lower EAST Side in NYC, M.E.R.G.E and started a group called 809 Foundation. They recorded a number of demos and had some success in the underground hip hop scene. The group dismantled in 1998 because of the pressure of the industry. A record deal doesn't happen over night so the stress and depression took over. He learned that only the strong survive in this industry. In 1999, Boe connected with Pop/R&B group Strange WayZ and landed a verse on their single "Crazy Por Tu Amor" a song that fused English and Spanish over an R&B feel. He continued his work with industry heavy hitter including PMD from the group EPMD.Boe then landed an opportunity of a lifetime to host a cable music show called In Da Hood Videos. He held down hosting duties for over ten years, interviewing a "whose who" in the hip hop/r&b music industry, including artist like P.Diddy, Jay-Z, Ja-Rule, and Nas just to name a few. The show is currently still on the air and being run by Boe's mentor Tang Boogie. In 2006, Boe packed his bags and loaded his car for the 1000 mile drive to his new home in Orlando, FL. While in Florida, he re-connected with Luis "eLeMz" Martinez, formally of Strange WayZ, and signed to eLeMz Music. Boe is back in the studio, making the magic happen. With his experience, passion and drive, only success lays before his path."What makes me different is I speak from the heart, true life stories. I let people into my world up close and personal. What keeps me fresh is I stay in tune with the streets and the youth of today. Those two things I believe keep me current."-Boe
