About Me

My name is Scott. That's all you need to know. If you know me better than that, well I guess you're special. Layout made by spaz

My Interests

Good food, good fun, good friends.

I'd like to meet:

The pope, The president, and Jackie Chan all in the same encounter.

Music:

Blue October, Senses Fail, Aiden, Moneen, The Get Up Kids, Three Days Grace, Motion City Soundtrack, Bullet for My Valentine, Alkaline Trio, Crossfade... just to name a few. I love many different bands and my iPod is one of my most precious possessions.

Movies:

Office Space is a cool movie. Shawshank Redemption is another good one. Stewie Griffin, the untold story is quite comedic. Constantine is an ironically funny movie that I think is pretty good as well. Anything with Jackie Chan, that has no plot, is good. There's always something about watching stereotypical "bad guys" get the $hit beat out of them with a ladder or a wheel chair that's amusing. Oh, and if you ever see the movie "Memento" you should watch it 'cause it's great.

Television:

Family Guy. The Daily Show. The Colbert Report. Scrubs. House.

Books:

A Feast For Crows, The Golden Compass Trilogy, Choke, Wheel of Time Series, All I Need to Know I learned in Kindergarten, Oops! Observations from both sides of the refrigerator door, The Dark Tower Series, The Testement, The Deadzone, and The Street Lawyer all are excellent books.

Heroes:

Alexander, The Great. I wanna be just like him when I grow up, conquer the known world, name 20 cities after myself, and die young.

Grizzly Bear Day

I was recently thinking about the whole "Ground Hog Day" thing. I've concluded that it's pretty stupid. Every year we have a tradition that apparently hails from Germany of listening to a crazed caret...

Christmas

Yeah, it's the Christmas season again. The time of year the inspires hopeless commercialism as well as horrible movies staring Kelsy Grammer. I'm never quite sure what to think of this season. There's...

So I started reading the classic John Steinbeck novel, The Grapes of Wrath, and I gotta say, it's mighty depressin'. The story follows the plight of the Joads family, a farming family turned migrant b...
