Total Fusion promotes and organizes breakbeat parties in Slovenia.
After a 6 or more years solo dj-ing Loco, Roga and Tadi Touch got together and started as residents and promoters in one of the last Slovenian alternative clubs called Pekarna, which has the longest tradition of alternative electronic music events.
The first rave party in Slovenia happened there in 1993 and was called Meltdown, and yes we were there. As we know the djs back then weren't specialized in one or two styles as now are. It was a mixture of everything and so were the people, which was great.
So Pekarna under different organizations hosted a lot of well known names of underground music pioneers.Since Tadi and Roga were waiting for breaks to hit the clubs and dj-ing mostly fusions of house, downtempo, 2step and some garage in all of the Slovenian well respected underground clubs, Loco was specialized in tech house. So when breaks came out and artists like Meat Katie and Lee Coombs flushed the borders between house and breaks, Loco joined them and the fusions became total.It's been 4 years now and they've hosted and played with a lot of breakbeat dj's from Europe, 2006 breakspoll award winner for best breakbeat album Atomic Hooligan, like the one of the first electronic music dj's from UK Chad Jackson, who is still pretty much in music. Also 2007 DJ Magazine covered Rejects party which was organized by Total Fusion in K4 Ljubljana (you can find the article at the pictures directory).Tadi and Roga also produce breaks, house and hip hop, Cheeba and Beat Seeker are on the Radio Mars and Beko keeps the vibe alive. We dont like to tag music and sort in styles, but for better understanding for some people, sometimes you have to. The most important for us is the sound and the feeling of the music.
