Make Your Custom Scroller at SeekCodes.com I MAFFËR nascono nell'estate del 2002 ed dopo aver "messo in piedi" alcune cover cominciarono ad esibirsi in alcuni localiNel frattempo iniziarono a scrivere canzoni proprie sempre sul genere rock-blues mettendo alla luce la prima canzone chiamata Jail, ma poi a breve distanza Merigein e molte altre.Con queste parteciparono a diversi concorsi, primo fra tutti, “San Vendemiano Sucks” in cui si classificarono al quinto posto. La prima vera soddisfazione arrivò da un concorso organizzato da un fans club dei “Nomadi” e svoltosi a Trebaseleghe che ha visto i MAFFËR classificarsi al secondo posto. Proprio questo piazzamento ha consentito loro di andare a registrare il primo demo contenente tre pezzi “Jail”, “Merigein” e “Conversation with a note”.In seguito i concerti sono stati numerosi e il gruppo ha spostato leggermente l’orientamento da uno stretto legame ai Creedence clearwater revival verso un sound più rockeggiante con cover di gruppi come Rolling Stones, Cream, The Who ma anche con canzoni proprie.Un’altra grande soddisfazione non tardò ad arrivare, con la seconda partecipazione nel luglio 2004 al concorso organizzato dai Nomadi, che li vide questa volta giungere primi, il che gli consentì di partecipare all’apertura del loro concerto a Novellara (RE) in occasione del ritrovo annuale di tutti i fans club italiani.Nel Maggio 2005 in seguito ad uno speciale dedicato a loro, da parte di Radio Veneto Uno, partecipano alla trasmissione Garage Music, proponendo altre nuove canzoni. Successivamente entrarono in studio di registrazione, dove uscì, a marzo 2006, il loro primo cd: “I COULD BE GLAD”, con 10 brani inediti, ed una rivisitazione di una canzone degli Animals. Nel dicembre 2006 si esibiscono nella finale di Ritmi Globeli Europei, vincendo Ritmi in Club, concorso organizzato per i gruppi della provincia di Treviso.I MAFFËR dopo queste esperienze continuano a comporre canzoni assumendo oramai un’identità ben definita in un sound molto vicino ai Rolling Stones, proponendo un rock ballabile ai concerti dove cercano costantemente un coinvolgimento del pubblico per divertirsi, divertire e portare rock and roll. ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------- The MAFFËRs are born in the summer of 2002 and after having "built" some covers they started to perform in some pubs In the meantime they began to always write proper songs on the kind rock-blues putting to the light the first song called Jail, but then to brief distance Merigein and a lot of others.With these, they participated in different contests, first: “St. Vendemiano Sucks” in which they classified to the fifth place. In December 2006 they exhibit in the final of Rhythms Globali Europei, winning Rhythms in Club, competition organized for the groups of the province of Treviso. The MAFFËR after these experiences keep on composing songs assuming by now a well defined identity in a sound close to the Rolling Stones, proposing a dancing rock to the concerts where they constantly look for an involvement of the people.
