About Me

My name is Bill Wetzel. Ok, I am mainly a writer nowadays. I had a book out a few years ago called "The Acorn Gathering: Writers Uniting Against Cancer." http://acorngathering.gq.nu/ I have also written for Red Ink Magazine and the Arizona Daily Wildcat. I do have an essay on Blackfeet Indian author James Welch currently out in the Studies in American Indian Literatures series. I also have a video degree. I think video and film wise I'm just looking to write some screenplays and dabble around like that. Back in the old days I used to ride bulls and was a wrestler. I have competed overseas and was pretty serious about wrestling. I also spent a few years as a high school coach before I decided to go to college and do something artistic.

I like old school 70s stuff a lot. I like anything good in all honesty. I'm well rounded. I think the state of songwriting nowadays is pure shit for the most part. Some people are doing some interesting stuff though.The ending to Talladega Nights. Go get 'em Ricky!!!!The Stonehenge scene from "This Is Spinal Tap."

As a writer-editor with the Agricultural Department. If I get it I'll have to research and write about Agriculture policy and Agribusiness related stuff. I think it entails publications, website stuff...
