See "About Me".
Terrence Howard, Mia Kirshner, Jennifer Beals, Stephen Colbert, Jason Schwartzman, Paul Giamatti, Peter Gabriel and, of course, my favorite filmmaker of all time, Woody Allen.People who don't know all the answers to life. People who don't find Jesus instead of booze. People who don't have either a superiority/inferiority complex. People who make mistakes and know it. And, most importantly, people who can laugh at life, themselves, and those who can get me to laugh.
Peter Gabriel, Duran Duran fucking rocked my world last night! David Bowie (Diamond Dogs and Hunky Dory my favorite albums), Joy Division, X, Dead Can Dance, Charli Baltimore, Serge Gainsbourg, Thompson Twins (Tom Bailey, really), Kate Bush, Gary Numan, Sisters of Mercy from the "Confetti" days, and others.
And who would I be kidding if I didn't admit that I love Dan Fogelberg as well as Christopher Cross?

Almost anything Woody Allen hits the spot.
Dexter, The Tudors, House, Six Feet Under, L Word, Huff (idiot execs may have cancelled it, but stays in my favs), Weeds, Colbert Report, Dog Whisperer (love Cesar), other stuff.
BUKOWSKI, also, I love non-fiction, history books (especially about 20th century China and Tudor England), medical textbooks, Anchee Min, James Ellroy, Amy Tan, Ernest Hemingway (usually), Kryon, Golden Braid stuff, cat/animal books (don't make fun). When I'm feeling self-righteous, I like books that are critical of over-consumption and reckless eating, such as "Diet for a New America" or "Fast Food Nation", as well as vegan/vegetarian books.
The cats.
