My Interests

Stream of consciousness, underneath or released from the restraints of ego manipulation substance. The vision of Wighthree Industry and its founder Aaron Smith is the free expression of ideas throughout any tangible medium, and by any artistic means. "I believe that no matter what events may come to pass on this planet or in this universal dimension, love will prevail. Therefore, it is my duty as an artist to express myself and take risks at the expense of my sanity or my popularity in culture and subculture alike." In derivative format... More power to U and I :)

I'd like to meet:

Succulent sirens sailing ships ashore aiding eternal empire expansion.

Music:

The Grateful Dead's two double live albums entitled "Dead Set" and "Reckoning", the former being electric and the latter acoustic; Black Sabbath with their 1974 album "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath"; and the Rolling Stones with their double album "Exile on Main Street"-72. Three contemporary treasures are the 03 offering "Strays" by Jane's Addiction, "In Rainbows" by Radiohead and "The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust!" by Saul Williams. The Radiohead album is now available in stores as of 01-01-08 and the Saul Williams album, produced by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails fame, is available for download free of charge. Sabreden contains these tracks.

Movies:

The highly controversial April 20th, 2002 screening of the short film "I Love Adolph Hitler". As the artist, I felt strongly ill-set against Sherwood Players Director/Producer Matthew Weinglass choosing the aforementioned title for the film, and it received a mixed response from the audience. I feel that many audience members may have taken the vision of the film out of context, and was unable to exercise any input over the production due to a near fatal car accident and subsequent hospitalization. In retrospect, I feel the film may do more harm then good unless an audience member assume the posture of unconditional love for all humankind- despite the presence of "original sin", no matter how evil and to what scale. Justice is justice... But hatred is an entirely separate issue. For more information on this or similar projects, contact Matthew Weinglass @ theunderground or Peter Smith @ lasrever on myspace.

Television:

E

Books:

The novel penned in stream of conciousness by James Joyce entitled "Ulysses". Emphasis must be placed on the chapter "Circe" in which Joyce free-falls into a state of pure ego driven mania, separating him from surrounding culture. I devoted an essay to this chapter, citing alongside it the film "The Crying Game" featuring music by Boy George, as well as theory by philosopher Renee Descartes and revolutionary Albert Einstein. This essay received the grade of "B" by UCSB T.A. Katie Berry in an Anglo-Irish literature class and is permanently lost.

Heroes:

Brent Bettes. Angel Uriel. Vocalist and axeman for the Rolling Stones, Keith Richards. P-Funk All-Star and visionary George Clinton. Malevolent ruler of the lower planes Blaze Malaise.
