Hailing from the Dirty South, Storage 24 is hitting the music scene full throttle, ready to kick your ass with what rock music is meant to be. Storage 24 is comprised of five unique individuals from various places around the U.S., each bringing their own unique influences to the table to create a sound like no other, “the Storage 24 sound.â€
Having been around the block a few times in other various projects, the members of Storage 24 came together with one goal in mind, to create music worthy of the rock legacy. From their first show together under the band’s current lineup, it became readily apparent that Storage 24 had captured something special, lightning in a bottle so to speak. In a part of the country that is marred by the fallout of the civil rights era, Storage 24 has risen from the ashes demonstrating that a common vision can overcome misperceptions regarding racial relations.
Frontman Baby Fred’s energetic performance, coupled with guitarist Mackin’s wild antics, produce a live show like no other. Jeff’s smooth demeanor carries over to his grinding guitar playing while Ronnie and Tony, who comprise the rhythm section, keep the music tight and pumping. One listen to the band’s current album, “The New Rock Era†and it is readily apparent why the band has amassed numerous fans. It is time for the sleeping giant of rock music to awaken, Storage 24 could very well be the catalyst the rock industry has been searching for.
