About Me

During one of the greatest Blues Brothers concert, which gave the tapes for the album "Briefcase Full Of Blues", J. Belushi screamed: "I suggest you buy as many blues albums as you can". Guess what ? I followed his advice since I was 12 and now I am 41 and still haven't stop buying blues albums ! I couldn't calm the rush of having the blues with me everyday, so in December 2006 I decided to produce my own blues. I played drums in many blues bands, sometimes I did rhytm guitar too, but only if the guitar man was sick or broke his fingers. Therefore I got to know many musicians, much more then I'd need to form one band. So I decided to put all my mates together in a "box" and I called it "BLUESBOX". I normally write music & lyrics, arrange the songs, record them, mix them & edit them, pubblish them in the internet, but in many cases my mates give me a hand in writing and arranging ... thank God .... I am a lawyer in my everyday life, so every single help is very much appreciated. This page started as the place for Sam & the bluesbox, the first formation that - amongst bluesbox artists - managed to finish an entire album, titled Some Kind Of Rock'n Roll. It was last year (2007) and since then another album has been published, titled Smoking Guitar (2008). A third album is on its way to be completed .... works are constantly in progress as everynight some musician is playing at bluesbox. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------THANKS FOR VISITING BLUESBOX ........... YOU ARE WELCOME ------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------------------------Make sure to click our website link on the left to get to the complete discography
