Behold a Pale Lemming!

About Me

In Hebrew, I am a God. In Arabic, I am a vibrant, spicy curry. I live simply and honestly. I like a good movie, a good book, a good pint, a good conversation, and a good game of disc golf. I work at the famous Haslem's Bookstore in St. Petersburg, Florida, with Beowulf and Teacup and the occasional ghost. S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S S

My Interests

Reading, writing, finding the perfect cup of coffee, disc golf, saving the world...

I'd like to meet:

Someone who isn't afraid of being spontaneous and who is not satisfied with "normal" life. Someone who doesn't listen to hip-hop, not exclusively at least. Someone who refuses to watch reality TV. Someone who enjoys reading a book once in a while. Someone who can carry on an intelligent conversation without using the word "like" more than once in a sentence. Someone with a nagging itch to better our world. Someone who likes to smile.
You Are Guinness
You know beer well, and you'll only drink the best beers in the world.
Watered down beers disgust you, as do the people who drink them.
When you drink, you tend to become a bit of a know it all - especially about subjects you don't know well.
But your friends tolerate your drunken ways, because you introduce them to the best beers around. What's Your Beer Personality? .. width="425" height="350" ..

Music:

Gov't Mule, The Black Crowes, Tool, Widespread Panic, Buckethead, System of a Down, Hank III, Pantera, Damage Plan, Down, Black Sabbath, The Doors, Credence, Reverend Horton Heat, Blind Melon, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, ---there are many more!!!

Movies:

Evil Dead, ED 2, Army of Darkness, Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Never-Ending Story, Bubba Hotep, Devil's Rejects, Batman Begins, The Mephisto Waltz, Dead Man, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, American Beauty, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Friday the 13th, Blair Witch Project, Halloween, Fearless Vampire Killers, Young Frankenstein, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, The Last Starfighter, Logan's Run, Event Horizon, The Big Lebowski, Garbage Pail Kids, Howard the Duck, The Last House on the Left, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Psycho, Ghostbusters (anything with Bill Murray), Fast Times at Richmont High, It, Sin City, The Innocents, The Vanishing (British version had a better ending), Willy Wonka (original is still the best), King Kong (whatever happened to Fay Wray?), Up in Smoke, Stand By Me, White Zombie (anything with Bela Lugosi), Elvira Mistress of the Dark, The Lost Boys, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Class of Nuke'Em High... shall I continue or do you have sense of my taste in movies?

Television:

I hate the television! It is a yammering machine that never gets tired of pumping the subliminal and the meaningless into your delicate sponges! It is dangerous! I would recommend destroying it immediately!

Books:

Your life will be better after you read anything by Tom Robbins, Hunter Thompson, Carl Hiaasen, Gregory Macquire, H. P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, Douglas Adams, Umberto Eco, or Anne Rice... just to name a few.

Heroes:

The Great Hunter S. Thompson, William Cooper, Thomas Paine, Dimebag Darrell, Tom Robbins, Atreyu, Jason Vorhees, Maximum BobSavatage - Edge Of Thorns

Horror Movie

The trailer for the new "Butter and Polka-Dot" movie was quite intriguing. It wasn't any different than you'd expect from an animated movie: overly cute animals babbling babyishly about the innocent ...
