About Me

Hello, how are you? As you can see from my profile I live in London. I moved down 10 years ago from Cumbria but it seems only yesterday. I would describe myself as easy going & laid back. I do get stressed when Liverpool play though. I am happily engaged to Em, who is amazing. She is very artistic...she does amazing things with dominoes, and loves Japanese culture, which has yet to rub off on me. I am a music nut...and lost without my ipod. I hate arrogance, ego's and bullying. I have a fascination with Goth imagery & style...but i do not have a distinctive style myself. I like to wear what is comfortable. Brands are Adidas & North Face...never Nike, and never Bling! I hate gold (looks tacky) but love silver. As regards Myspace, the novelty is starting to wear off, but its great for discovering new music. I will not accept a friend without a message first if its from some random individual, as their is a lot of crap being sent around out there. Do not be shy, and drop me a message if you want to discuss music, sport or just general chit chat, and maybe see you at a gig (or a prom) soon.Get this widget!

My Interests

Liverpool FC and the legends that are Barrow AFC. Sport in general, Theatre, Acting, Lake District, Playing my PSP, Hanna Barbera cartoons, food, Prom concerts, walking in the country and up mountains, wildlife, astronomy. Love to drink red wine, Amstel beer, G&T or V&T....within moderation of course.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone & Everyone. If I had to invite 6 people for a dinner party then it would have to be Stephen Fry, Marilyn Manson, Johnny Depp, Sir Simon Rattle, Bill Oddie...and Katherine Jenkins

Music:

Interpol, Aimee Mann, Remy Zero Fall Out Boy, Metric, Blonde Redhead, Poe, Gemma Hayes, Muse, Imogen Heap, Dave Matthews Band, Rival Schools, Duran Duran, Panic at the Disco, Feeder, Sugar, Justin Timberlake, Scissor Sisters, Sarah Mclachlan, Sugar, The Killers, Queensryche, James, Feeder, Pearl Jam, Incubus, Bloc Party, My Chemical Romance, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Raconteurs, Zero 7, Sia, Conjure One, Delerium, Radiohead, QOTSA, Classical and everything except Country music. Discovered through Myspace are Noonie Bao, Crash Holiday, The Watermarks, Gitbox, Liquid Sunshine, Ledge, Moth and The Mirror and Massdriver

Movies:

The best British movie ever made, Withnail & I. Dark Star, LOTR Trilogy, X-Men and other comic book adaptations. Animated Films like Shrek, Monsters Inc....but unlike Emma, I am not a great fan of Manga. Oh, I like Bond movies, Training Day, Serenity, Kill Bill 1 and 2

Television:

The Americans do it better, especially in terms of crime dramas eg:CSI, Bones, Criminal Minds, Law & Order, etc... I am also a fan of Prison Break, Lost, Scrubs, Will & Grace, Frasier, Angel In terms of British TV, it has to be Life on Mars, Match of the Day, Later with Jools....and Springwatch

Books:

Harry Potter, Nick Hornby, ...but not read one in a long time. I was a fan of Fantasy novels by Alan Dean Foster and Raymond E Feist, but that was years ago. I like to read the Observer on Sundays, as the supplements for musice, sport and food are very good.

Heroes:

Stevie G, Carra & Rafa....guy who invented the Ipod. Gary Numan, who made me the music nut I am today. New hero....Bill Oddie

I think this is the 5th time I have seen Aimee Mann perform in London.  Although it was yet another great performance, it was missing the electric guitar.  She was not promoting a new album,...
