Third Eye was formed by the pieces of what remained of the now dead
harcorethrashers Cause Of death. The members, who still loved aggressive
music and the uncompromising 'take no prisoners'-approach of both hardcore
and thrash metal music, felt the urge of doing something more melodic, yet
keeping their aggressive roots intact. Cause Of Death was officially dead
and when recruiting to it's ranks the gifted singer and songwriter
Pär Carlsson the perfect lineup for a new band was born. Arise Third
Eye.
The band, consisting of the fierceful yet melodic vocals of Pär Carlsson, guitarists Linus Olsson, bassplayer Henrik
Sutinen and drummer Erik Wackelin, carries an exciting approach of melodic
thrash metal, blending huge rhytmdriven metalriffs with melodic and
emotional vocal melodies.
