BasilicaMusic was formed in 2004 as a vehicle to release product for the band Basilica and has now evolved to become a fully independent label releasing product from a stable of artists producing some of the finest electronic/leftfield music around today. The artists currently with BasilicaMusic are linked by either their use of electronic sound within their particular genre or the alternative way they explore their musical creativity. We are always on the look out for something different and exciting from any genre .From the dark Hip Hop of the Tusken Coalition to the left-field British Electronica of Papa La Bas the label offers the listener access to innovative and unique music from innovative and unique artists. BasilicaMusic is also a music publisher and offers artist management to both label and external artists. We support all forms of Digital Art and Entertainment and often sponsor events and exhibitions around the country to promote the artists and their works

Our Artists:Our current roster of artists are listed in the sections below.
Papa La Bas:Papa La Bas will release their debut album "Anecohic" on BasilicaMusic later this year and in July release their debut "AA" single "I'll Come Round/Middle Lane"Papa La Bas lives in the Nottingham caves under the castle raising spirits on ju ju hairy string and baby chicken grease. The entrance of the cave is guarded by invisible bling dogs (one yellow, one black), and the worlds strongest five year old, who is actually also under a spell, so she just kind of hovers there foaming a bit and speaking in tongues...... Anyone who tries to pass her without Papa's approval suddenly wakes up in a bed of mouldy kippers with their legs coming out of their ears...... Papa La Bas is two gumbo-stinkin bitches, who make spells out of digital transducers and gravy, resulting in a temporal music which can exist in at least eighteen dimensions at any one time.....The two headed Dr Beast, as Papa is also known, slinks from pillar to post at night in a dance of pure feral libidiousness, contaminated only by streetlights and the shadows of passing cars. You will occasionally see him/her frollicking on Colwick hill, a sillouette, whirling around hard enough to lose his/her/its hat.

Tusken Coalition:Tusken Coalition storm back in July with the "AA" single "Amphetamine Romance/Demon Womb. Following the critical acclaim for the debut album "Self-Titled" the Coalition are keen to follow up quickly on their success and draw in a whole new audience with the new tracks. A new album will be released in 2009 and the band are playing live throughout the year. Details on www.basilicamusic.com

Rachel Harvey:Accomplished actress and singer Rachel Harvey (I Dream, Holby City, Sophia's Diary) is currently working on her solo album "Primal Wound" which will be released on BasilicaMusic early in 2009. The album will be the first to be recorded in the new Basilica recording studio and will be produced by Paul K.
Neon Zoo :Neon Zoo's sexy, innovative blend of electronic beats, guitars and velvety vocals are set to take the alternative scene by storm. Their story began when accomplished musician and songwriter, Rick Alexander, decided to start pushing musical boundaries. With a love of dance and all things techno, and a solid background in guitar-based rock he began to create a new, addictive genre and make it his own. Watch out for new releases from Neon Zoo coming up in the next few months.
Basilica:Basilica are currently working on the follow up to the successful "Sins of the Flesh" debut album from 2004. The new album "13th Station" sees the Basilica sound evolve and take on a harder, rockier edge while maintaining the distinctive Basilica vibe. Tracks from the album will appear on MySpace and Basilicamusic.com in the near future.
Glitch Code:Glitch Code is the electronic project from Neon Zoo frontman Rick Alexander and Basilica songwriter/producer Paul Kirkpatrick. The album "Ultraviolet" is nearing completion and will be released in the very near future. Tracks can be played on the MySpace player or on the Jukebox at BasilicaMusic.com

Paul K:Basilica songwirter and producer Paul Kirkpatrick releases his instrumental solo album "Soul Connection" on October 15th 2007. The album is the prequel to the book "Soul Connected" that will be published next year based on the album. For more info visit www.paulkirkpatrick.co.uk
