About Me

a few things about me...

-i am an artist...a musician to be specific. i do a lot of other things, but music is the blanket that i sleep under

-i tend to see things through a very sensitive lens. i catch things most people don't see...whether that is a good thing or not is debatable...especially by me

-i follow my heart 100% of the time, which usually gets me into trouble, but i still don't think i'd have it any other way

-i have a lot of big plans; lots of goals and ambition. i need to work harder on the execution

-i obviously don't believe in upper-case lettering, and i generally try to avoid punctuation altogether

-if i like you, i will do just about anything for you. and if you are in need, i am there in seconds flat

-if i don't like you, you will probably never know about it. don't worry though, that list is quite short :)

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

anyone who can make me laugh and knows how to have fun with life. beyond that, i guess wouldn't mind meeting hendrix (if he were alive), jeff buckley (see jimi), trent reznor, johnny depp, miles davis (again, if alive), john coltrane (same), so yea i guess mostly dead people...hmm

Music:

i recently made a mix for a friend... but it's so good that i think you should have it too :)

Movies:

what the bleep do we know? snatch, goodfellas, lock stock and two smoking barrels, fight club, deja vu, the usual suspects, empire records, clerks, dogma, requiem for a dream, fargo, american history x, blow, almost famous, true romance, godfather I & II, pulp fiction, reservior dogs, memento, the devil's rejects, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, the big lebowski, seven, 12 monkeys, i'm sure there are others

Television:

sucks

Books:

currently reading the useless owner's manual to the yamaha motif es (i might as well be reading the 'the diy guide to brain surgury....i just went online to doublecheck my spelling of 'surgury' and do you realize that there is actually a book called 'Brain Surgury For Beginners And Other Major Operations For Minors'?!?!?...just goes to show ya), but also on the road (pretty much anything jack kerouac...i know typical, but the man has a way with words), the secret, a brief history of time, the elegant universe, zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance, scar tissue, hero with a thousand faces (joseph campbell), ishmael (daniel quinn), the miles davis autobiography...i should probably read more...
