My Interests

This is so weird, putting my life into little boxes, and yet, strangely satisfying to the OCD parts of my brain. Um, let's go with ... writing, all things pop culture (oh, good, I guess I got the right job ... phew), reading ... dear lord, do I do nothing that doesn't relate to my career path? Oh, yes, yoga. I enjoy yoga very much.

Music:

All this categorization does make me nervous. Must do more yoga. Okay, I know this all makes me a teenage girl, but I very much like Justin Timberlake and Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco. (I do not believe in the exclamation point.) When I feel like being a middle-aged woman instead, I listen to Dolly Parton and Elton John. When I want to have cred, I listen to Bob Dylan. But if I had to listen to only one artist on an endless loop for the rest of my life, it would be Joseph Arthur. And I can't believe I didn't mention this before, but Liz Phair is my goddess.

Movies:

Almost Famous, High Fidelity, Breakfast at Tiffany's, When Harry Met Sally (cliche but true), Jerry Maguire, Say Anything, Clueless, Before Sunrise/Sunset, Bridget Jones' Diary, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Television:

Oh, geez. Lost (yes, still, deal with it), Degrassi, Entourage, Grey's Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs, The Office, 24, Ugly Betty, The Amazing Race, Heroes ... that's not my whole DVR list, but we'll stop there. Coming Soon: Chuck, Gossip Girl, Aliens in America, Dirty Sexy Money, Pushing Daisies.

Books:

Nick Hornby, Michael Chabon, Jack Kerouac, and Tom Wolfe. New crushes: Aimee Bender and David Schickler.

Heroes:
