A former Army brat, Air Force wife, I am married with two amazing sons, ages 20 and 17. I love animals and share my heart and home with a golden retriever, red-bone hound, and a cat, all of which were rescued. I've been blessed with a career I love...I teach third grade. I'm also passionate about environmental issues and animal rights. I have very strong views against animal cruelty, especially factory farming, which recently led me to embrace a vegetarian lifestyle.Random facts: I love dark chocolate and merlot, the smell of honeysuckle and the peppery leaves of geraniums, unusual photography, and the sound of bells and wind chimes. I laugh at my own goofy jokes--God bless my students for joining in from time to time. I have one flaw--well two, I'm a horrible speller, which is not a good trait for somebody in my profession and because I'm tone deaf, I can't carry a tune in a bucket. Oh, and I'm honest to a fault. Whether it be because I was subjected to multiple viewings of the movie Pinocchio, or heard the George Washington cherry tree story too many times I couldn't tell you. I promise to temper the truth with lots of sugar coating....I can't bear to hurt anybody's feelings! I'm scared of heights--discovered that while on an amusement park ride--oops, too late! Oh, and in case you haven't noticed it...I'm a huge Judd Starr fan! Judd is an amazing multi-instrumentalist and songwriting genius--he has recently
signed a licensing agreement with MTV and her sister stations. Soon, his songs could be featured on "The Hills", the Laguna Beach spinoff, currently MTV's number one show.
The tracks from his CD, "LUMINESCENT" are carefully crafted, varied, and the sound is unique. I'm not in the business of promoting musicians, nor do I benefit monetarily, but after hearing Judd's music I felt compelled to share him with the world. Seriously, I can't think of another artist more deserving of our support.
