Eclipse into Oblivion

metal band making a demo and looking for a drummer

About Me

E.I.O. started in January 2006 when Colin (guitar) moved from West Virginia to Delaware to play music with his childhood friend and guitar mentor Eric who was living in Maryland. Several songs were written but a permanent line up never formed. Eric left the band in May 2007 due to family obligations. Colin continued writing songs and jamming with musicians but a full band never formed. Rick (guitar) from Reading, PA contacted Colin February 2008 through a classified ad. Colin asked James who he had been jamming on and off with since November 2007 if he would do lead vocals for E.I.O. James accepted and also took up bass responsibilities shortly after. Recording of the four song demo started April 2008. The demo is scheduled for release in summer 2008 and the cosmically devastating force known as Eclipse into Oblivion will be released. The band plans to be playing shows shortly after the release of the demo. Some sample tracks recorded by Colin are up on the page. The songs Swarm and Snake Eyes are two of the four songs which are being recorded for the demo.
