Life is just too good not to enjoy every minute of it! Things like music, wind, the seasons, bird song, family and friends. I love being outdoors. I'm more summer/autumn, than winter, though. Blue skies, green trees, mountain lakes. Hiking. Skinny dipping! Thunder storms are exciting! Four-wheeling. Just sitting and watching the clouds roll by. Winter... is just cold and best enjoyed from a warm window with a warm drink in hand! If I have to be inside: Dancing!, being with friends at the local pub, reading a lot. I have four wonderful children and three beautiful grandaughters that make my life full and satisfying. Complete? No. I need a dog. (OK, maybe a guy wouldn't be so bad either) I laugh at inappropriate times. I find humor in almost everything and love to be around people that can laugh at themselves and life. I'm the jealous type (fair warning!) I stand up for the underdog. If I'd been borne in another time, another life, I would have worn sword and shield and riden a huge black steed named Jack. :P I love lime. And chocolate. Not together. I don't like attention or that heart-chilling four letter word: D-A-T-E. Shhh. Don't say it outloud! Faith is a huge part of me. Faith in the Creator. Faith beyond what's seen. More important than the air I breathe. Stronger than any love or dream. Stronger than circumstance, pain or joy. It guides my life.

My Interests

Just got back on a dirt bike after, oh...27 years? (Man I feel old now) Good news is I didn't dump it! Now I just have to get past the shakes, but I'm going to ride every weekend until it feels a part of me, again!

I love a good movie! Adventure, action, fantasy types are my favorites, but I'll sit through anything and enjoy it if I'm with the right company. (Ah...maybe not Austin Powers)

Television:

Haven't had TV for years (no cable) but Netflix visits our house regularly.

Books:

I read alot. I like a good story. There are many good authors, old and new, that "take me there", when I'm finding myself not able to put the book down at 3am and I have to get up in 4 hours (obviously single, huh?). I love to travel by novel, since I can't afford to in reality. My son's blogs are on the top of my list. :)

Heroes:

Average, everyday people making something spectacular out of the crap they've been dealt. Rising above. Not only surviving, but glowing. Not only looking forward, but looking around to help others. They are an inspiration to me.
