About Me

If you can be completely summed up on a myspace page you're a little insignificant I think; so i'll keep the spark alive by teasing you with some life tidbits.Born in West Covina CA, lived in Walnut CA, and moved to Las Vegas in 1994. Didn't do much in HS but play ice hockey and get good grades. Went to undergrad at Arizona State. Was an RA at good old manzy for 2.5 years and made many a good friend and memory. Graduated in 2003 with a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering and moved back to Las Vegas in July 2004 where I got my M.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Took a semester off after that and then started my Ph.D. in ME as well. Be done with that around Dec. 09 (or so i'm told) and then we'll see...

My Interests

What do I like to do? Anything and everything with a few exceptions. I go to the movies with my mom and sister and watch football with my dad. I go to happy hours with my friends and buy generic love sacs so they can read on them later. I can't say no to chipotle or del taco. Taco bell however, makes me wish i was born without a mouth. I hate thinking cause it makes me sad sometimes. When I do, I try to blog if i have enough time. Sorry it's been a while since Ive put any up but people keep coming into town! I've got a few rolling around in my head so maybe i'll put some more up.

I'd like to meet:

anyone from UNLV that knows me (2004-2006, 2007-current), friends i use to know back at ASU (1998-2003), friends from high school (1994-1998) and maybe some from when i lived in southern california (1980-1994)...other than that; probably not you unless i know you in real life, or I have a crush on you...

Music:

A Little of everything. Always rock the Bad Religion, Social Distortion, Dismantled, Stone Temple Pilots, Hall and Oates, Tupac, Dire Straits, Sam Cooke, The Mars Volta, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, NOFX, System Of A Down, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, The Offspring, anything 80s and classic motown. Industrial is always good to do the excel spreadsheets and math homework to also probably know way too many kenny rogers, dolly parton and air supply songs due to the fact that those were the only 3 tapes my mom had when i was growing up...

Television:

Greatest show on TV today; NEVER FOR SALE! Cardinals=Life! Maybe we'll be good next year...sigh. Forgive me if I can't root for UNLV - I used to have a real college football team

Books:

got a bunch of classics and textbooks but they're just to impress the ladies; but my favorite is "the divine comedy "(actually - just inferno 'cause purgatory and heaven sucked). One of my brothers just got me "Atlas Shrugged" so i'm gonna start reading that; hopefully by the end of schoolin' i'll finish it up (UPDATE - on page 192 out of 1000 after 6 months)
