About Me

I am an excercise in futility to even try and figure out and I have long since given up even trying...however this has led me nowhere where I am content being so perhaps I'll try again...
i am complicated...but worth unraveling
i value my true friends most times over family
i am relatively easy to get along with (unless i haven't eaten, or have just woken up, and then i am a cranky bitch...sorry ;-)
i am SO not a morning person and never will be...i'm usually up until well after midnight, and i need sleep like a cat, or so i've been told
i am full of love but seem unable to BE loved without clinching up
i am easily hurt and not so easily mended
i will never be the perfect housewife...but i DO harbor secret desires to be as crafty as Martha Stewart ;-)
i am fanatical about people doing what they say they are going to do...as a result of being lied to so much before
i love dogs, and will 9 times out of 10 pull over and run into the middle of the street to pick up strays
i need to be stongly motivated to do something or else i can be very lazy
i am fairly smart but still have very, very dumb moments occasionally
i have a problem letting go of the past
i really, really love to eat...and crave buffets way too often
i love to people watch...and i eavesdrop constantly on other people's conversations
i am sarcastic pretty much all the time
i have an addictive personality
i only smoke Menthols
when i'm feeling melancholy i write melodramatic poetry...but i don't care to read poetry
i've had my real estate license for the last 6 years
i love to drive...but i hate traffic
i only sing in the car if the volume is turned up loud enough for me to think i sound good ("loud enough" is when i can't hear myself ;-)
i am quick to judge, and slow to apologize
i have discovered many new things about myself in the last year...and not all are good, but all were necessary
i am tired of this trip down self introspection lane for now ;-)

My Interests

Spending time with friends, going to hot rod and kustom car shows, burlesque shows, watching bands play, going to the bars, tropical vacations, Vegas, remodeling my house, going to the race track in Del Mar. I've done some modeling as a hobby and I've had a lot of fun and met some really cool people through it...Anything I think would be fun I'll try...

I'd like to meet:

myself, in a dark & deserted alley so I can beat some sense into me ;-)

Music:

Eclectic...lots and lots of different stuff depending on my mood. Classic rock, old skool punk and ska, "alternative", traditional rockabilly, some rap, etc, etc. I'm open to listening to anything once, twice before I judge it. If I decide I love it i'll wear out the cd playing it over and over before i find the next thing i'm into.

Movies:

Too many to list...I watch pretty much everything, good or bad. Some favorite DVD's: Do pornos count? lol...Wedding Crashers, 40 Year Old Virgin, Mr. & Mrs. Smith (the hottest couple of ALL time...care to make it a trio? lol) Swingers, anything with Vince Vaughn or Jon Favreau...hilarious guys. Love and Sex (with Jon Favreau)...little known, but SO worth the effort to find. Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Blade 1 & 3 (fuck the second one). I like action/thrillers, comedies, I usually hate "chick flicks" but will almost always cry if they are sappy enough. Quentin Tarantino movies...and...lots more

Television:

no cable right now, but...I love The Family Guy, Drawn Together, cooking shows, Malcolm in the Middle, the History channel, Crime shows, etc, etc...

Books:

The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, almost anything by Stephen King or Dean Koontz...I've probably read 90% of everything they've written. Laurell K. Hamilton books, mostly suspense/horror style books. Books about true life crimes, serial killers and vampires. I love to read, always have and can finish a book in less than a day if I feel like it (books without pictures even! ;-)

Heroes:

Anyone that forges their own path through life, that stands up for what they believe in, and un-apologetically goes for what they want..without hurting anyone in the process!
