"The scene took place in Dawn Beach, St Martin (FWI) under a coconut tree. We were sunbathing and drinkin' some Marie Galante finest rhum when Boo Boo Hadj told me : "You shall produce our second lp, in god we trust"... The sea was very quiet and I was really astonished : Atomic speaking english was a surprise to me ! I was scared !
A few months later I flew KLM rx 372 to Toulouse (France). I made this recording with my old "heavy friend" Lucas trouble (ex Vietnam Veterans) during a total solar eclipse. It was a rough crossing but what holidays we had together. The Kaiser Studio was filled with empty bottles of Red Frech Burgundy (Clos Vougeot, Chambolle Musigny, Puligny Montrachet...) while the 16 tracks machine was filled with Gretsch and Rickenbacker tremolo guitars, Moog and Hammond organ, loud double bass and easy listening drums !
It's been a great experience !
Now I know that "Boo Boo Jam Rockabilly" sounds like a hurricane.
It's now time to board. Please stop smoking and don't forget to fasten your seat belts guys !!!"
