Frontline Worship

About Me

Frontline Worship is comprised of 11 Core Members and 8 - 12 Team Members to create a unique and definitely one of a kind music team of inspirational achievers. Frontline’s roots began simple in 1993 as a small music team for a few choice events. At the time they were known as “True Spirit” with just a few members and quickly grew to a team of 12.The team revolved members for the next 2 years and soon found a permanent leader in Nina Atuatasi (maiden name for Nina Poole). She began to develop a small team of people to help train the Masters Commission students. That team began to develop individually and as a group so the concept of creating a “Frontline” was formed to help lead the large mass of people needing to be trained. Several team members were then added to the mix as their individual dreams and goals began to mesh into a collective vision to change music for churches and the secular public throughout the country. As the group progressed, new opportunities began to present themselves in the fashion of guest appearances with organizations becoming more familiar with the program of Masters Commission and eventually grew to directing areas of music for the Phoenix First Church. Sunday morning music services at Phoenix First were no small task as it is the largest church in its denomination affiliation with a recorded 12,000 plus members. With that, the platform for Nina and her team began to increase dramatically. After much local demand, the group embarked on the journey of recording CD’s. The more they recorded, the more the demand seemed to grow. After careful consideration, Nina, her husband Matt and MC USA / MCIN director & Co-Founder of 8 Side Records Lloyd Zeigler, decided to change the name True Spirit to Frontline Worship to provide the group with a new edge and challenge to themselves to create new music.
