I am here for Friends

About Me

Well, what is there to say...I don't know why this is such a hard question for me to answer...hmm...okay. I'm a nurse in the Emergency Room, I work a lot, and I spend entirely way too much time with Jeremy, which I enjoy, but I do miss hanging out with my friends, who are some crazy sexy bi-otches!!! I like to talk about politics, religion, philosophy, relationships, sex...you name it, I have an opinion about it...I love a good debate!

Your Birthdate: March 11
Your birth on the 11th day of the month makes you something of a dreamer and an idealist. You work well with people because you know how to use persuasion rather than force. There is a strong spiritual side to your nature, and you may have intuitive qualities inherent in your make up, too.You are very aware and sensitive, though often temperamental.Although you have a good mind and you are very analytical, you may not be comfortable in the business world. You are definitely creative and this influence tends to make you more of a dreamer than a doer.Layout made by

Music:

Everything, I am a music whore. I like rap, 80's, classic rock, punk rock, 90's rock, oldies, country(well, at least until the mid 90's, before it started getting really really lame), ballads, classical, blues, pop, stuff that is fun to sing to or dance to...I love listening to my friends sing or play guitar. Especially Liz...she's badass, her voice and her songwriting is amazing, gives me chills. Here's a list...if you care...in no particular order: The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Willie Nelson & all the outlaws, Johnny Cash, George Strait, old Garth Brooks, Snoop, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Paul Wall & Chamillionaire, Pitbull, 3 6 Mafia, Dre, Eminem, The Impossibles, Kanye West, Pharrell, N.E.R.D. (anything The Neptunes produce actually), My Chemical Romance, Missy Elliot, Ciara, Marvin Gaye, some Simon & Garfunkel, Paul Simon"Graceland", Michael Jackson (when he was black), The Ramones, Rancid, David Banner, Ying Yang Twins, Usher, Lil Jon, Tori Amos, Bob Marley, Trick Daddy, Tricky, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Janis Joplin, The Doors, Etta James, Ray Charles, Maroon 5, Enya, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Madonna, Santana, The Eagles, Gipsy Kings, Al Green, Green Day, The Black Crowes, Tool, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Impossibles, DMB, Tom Petty, Toadies, David Bowie, System of A Down, Jimmy Buffet, Aerosmith, Led Zepplin, Eric Clapton, Evanescence, The Isley Bros., Weezer, Rage Against the Machine, Guns N Roses, Queen, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Beethoven (Moonlight Sonata is my all-time favorite), Mozart, to name a few, hehe ;o)

Movies:

I like scary movies (Saw tripped me out), I like "smart" comedies, Napoleon Dynamite is a sweet movie, I pretty much like everything. Office Space, Best in Show, Monty Python movies, Run Lola Run, Saving Private Ryan, SLC Punk, Half-Baked, Dazed and Confused, Wit, Moulin Rouge, Romeo and Juliet, Gone With the Wind, 80's movies like Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles, Goonies, The Princess Bride, Fried Green Tomatoes, Stand By Me, The Iron Giant, Ever After, Any Tarantino movie...especially True Romance, Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill vol. 1 & 2, The Boondock Saints, Walk the Line, Hustle & Flow, The Big Lewbowski, Fear and Loathing in LV, Kings/Queens of Comedy, Wedding Crashers, 40-yr. Old Virgin, Crash, Fight Club, Ocean's Eleven, blah, blah, I could go on forever. Oh, I also like the shit out of documentaries, can't get enough of them. I love good stories as well as stuff that makes me think, trips me out or just makes me laugh. Oh, and "Where the Red Fern Grows"...don't laugh, that movie will still make me cry!

Television:

I love the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, him and I think a lot alike, I swear we were separated at birth. Along with that there is the Colbert Report...also good stuff. The Office, House M.D. and Grey's Anatomy, good shit. I am ashamed to admit that I love reality TV, I can't get enough of it... it's Real World's fault...I've been watching that since I was ten or 11 and I got hooked. It's one of my many guilty pleasures. I love Laguna Beach...The Iron Chef is great, entertaining on so many levels. I absolutely love Project Runway. Also, all those crime shows on A&E and Court TV...cold case, forensic files, city confidential, those shows scare the crap out of me...I don't know why I even watch them. CSI is badass.

Books:

Too many to remember, but we will give it a try...Utopia, The Da Vinci Code, A People's History of the United States, Make-Believe Culture, Gone With the Wind, Little Women, The Celestine Prophecy...just read Up from Slavery by Booker T. Washington--an AMAZING book.
