I have been an artist all of my adult life, first designing fine jewelry for 30 years and eventually moving into accessories and clothing for plus sized women with particular attention to the petite plus size market. Great Fit Plus patterns are an extension of my interest in helping the "shortcakes" of the world look gorgeous and feel great about themselves! My patterns, forecast for release in 2009, are designed to be a perfect fit for women who love fine fabrics, flattering lines and a passion for sewing beautiful clothes for themselves. All of the garments in the Great Fit Plus catalog can stand alone as elegant designs but also lend themselves to creative embellishment.
I am married, live in Northern California's wine country, and have two children who are also talented artists. My daughter's work (Marisa Youlden Jewelry) can be seen on these pages in my Friends section!
