About Me

www.bradwitty.com

My Interests

Watching movies, listening to music, politics, writing, drawing cartoons, and doing bradwitty.com .

I'd like to meet:

Bono, Matt Groening, Larry David, all my favorite directors (see movies section), and Conan O' Brian.

Music:

I basically like everything with the exception of Mainstream Hip Hop, Mainstream American Rock, and Mainstream Modern Country (I love classic country). I don't know why I don't like most mainstream music. I just don't. My top 5 bands and/or individual artist are: Radiohead, The National, U2, Bob Dylan, and The Beatles. My favorite classica composers arel Beethoven, Handel, Stravinsky, Rachmoninoff, Gershwin, and Wagner. Don't care for how Wagner was a Nazi sympathizer though.

Movies:

The Graduate, Rushmore, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, In America, Donnie Darko, The French Connection, The Big Lebowski, American Beauty, The Royal Tenenbaums, Manhattan, The Six Sense, Magnolia, The Godfather, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Napoleon Dynomite, The Apartment, Nashville, and The Jerk. My favorite directors are Wes Anderson, P.T. Anderson, Steven Spielberg, Billy Wilder, The Coen Brothers, Alexander Payne, M. Night Shamalan, Martin Scorsese, Robert Altman, and the one and only Woody Allen.

Television:

Simpsons, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Office, Arrested Development, Jeopardy!, and Conan O' Brian.

Books:

Crime and Punishment, Mere Christianity, Side Effects (if you've never read any of Woody Allen's old books, you gotta), The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Abbess of Crewe, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Brave New World, 1984

Heroes:

Yeshua (the one we now call Jesus), C.S Lewis, Oswald Chambers, Ravi Zacharais, Bono, Larry David, Randall Wallace, Mitchell Hurwitz (creator of Arrested Development)
