Hi. I don't know what to say here, but this field seems important, so I should fill it in. I am here to see what all the hub-bub is about and meet people. I am a former stand-up comic, radio DJ, writer, musician, band manager, etc. I am now happily married and lead a fairly peaceful life with my wife, stepson, our six cats and our greyhound. Life is sweet.

Anything by Dostoevsky, Mark Twain, Jack London. Early CLive Barker works, Most 19th century Russian writers, Some 18th century Russian writers, Shakespeare, Blake, Conrad. I don't read anything new other than J.K. Rowling, but who doesn't? My wife LOVES Augusten Burroughs, his stuff is very good.
