I am an avid music lover (80's music, Country, Pop/Top 40, Rock, Soft-Rock, Jazz, Blues, Classical,) ... but I could do without Rap (except for maybe one or two particular songs).
My all-time-favorite movie is "Secret Admirer" (1985) starring C. Thomas Howell, Lori Loughlin, Kelly Preston and Fred Ward (to name a few). I also love: Fast Times At Ridgemont High, The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink, Sixteen Candles, Can't Buy Me Love, Better Off Dead, Red Dawn, The Outsiders, The Lost Boys, The Green Mile, With Honors, Remember the Titans, etc. I am such a fan of movies... there's just too many awesome ones to list! But I will tell you... the ones that take you away from yourself for a while are my favorite kind. Oh and I do love scary movies, too!
TV- I enjoy Animal Planet, Fox News, Fox & Friends, Friday Night Lights, American Idol, Dancing With the Stars, all Law & Orders especially SVU, The Mentalist, Desperate Housewives, Court TV, The O'Reilly Factor, Greta Van Susteran, Nancy Grace, Hannity & Colmes, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Without A Trace, the original CSI, Real World/Road Rules Challenges, movies on all the movie channels.... and re-runs of my all-time-favorite Little House On The Prairie.
A few of my favorite authors are S.E. Hinton, V.C. Andrews, and Mary Higgins-Clark.
My Heroes are my Mother, my Grandfather, my Grandmother, Police Officers (my Brothers in Blue), Firefighters, Medical Professionals and all US Military Troops and Veterans.
