Robert is a self-published author; He loves to play the drums and create music. He also enjoys working on computers; repair, setup and maintenance. Robert is interested in deep conversations, smiling, dimly lit rooms, acceptance, not taking ANYTHING too seriously because when you've been where he's been, you wouldn't have time to bleed either...He enjoys friends who encourage and inspire. He can be quiet because he is soaking in people, things and places to use in different aspects in his books and writings; a small gesture, a discreet glance. If you find him staring at you, pay no mind. He is just observing and (hopefully) admiring your qualities. Robert loves reading and writing poetry and lyrics. He is delighted by thoughtful people; those who think of others before themselves, unless they go about it in a self-destructive manner. He is often moody yet easygoing and enjoys people of the same demeanor for the most part...Robert wishes you Peace and success in everything that you do....

Phillip Ash is a mature quiet 12 year old. When he was six, Phillip was hospitalized and treated for stomach cancer. The cancer, having gone into remission, has allowed Phillip to live a fairly normal life. Phillip's family is close knit and he has a handful of friends who are sensitive to the terrible disease he has struggled with.
Paul Ray Ash is the younger of Phillip's two uncles. After being released from prison, he is invited to live with Phillip, his mother Katherine, and younger sister Katie. With his debt to society paid, Paul Ray desires to repair the relationships within his family and put the past behind him.
At night, Phillip dreams he is King Phillip, ruler of the Kingdom of Ash. He presides over a dream land where there is magic...and dragons. With a wizard named Arlo, who dresses in the form of a medieval clown, King Phillip is racing through the land of his dreams to his castle. In pursuit is an army of vile creatures known as the "Black Army," who spread fear and destruction in their wake.
"Phillip's Clown" shifts between Phillip's waking life and the world of his dreams; presented as mirror images of each other as Phillip begins to secretly believe that the cancer within him is reawakening.
"Phillip's Clown" is a novel of courage and sacrifice. A story of love and lost hope renewed. A story of a boy who fears his life is running out of time, a man with a second chance and the bond they form in the time they share..."
