YANUS

Yanus is a musical project that combines the unlimited possibilities of electronics with tradicional music instruments. It started as a jam session in the summer of 2006 between two old friends, Nuno and Bruno, who liked the result and decided to take it serious. More recently they were in the process of filming their first videoclip. It was made by Gert Van Dermeersch (visual effects supervisor in movies like Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, Harry Potter 3 and V for Vendetta, among others. Involved in several tv commercials for Vodafone, BBC. etc... Also involved in music videos from the fado singer Mariza and Bamboo Beat) and António Bento (editor and cameraman who made lots of tv commercials for various brands and was involved in the making of lots of music videos for known portuguese artists like The Gift, David Fonseca, Da Weasel, among others). The filmings took place in one of the best showrooms in Portugal, Teatro José Lúcio da Silva, and outdoors, on the montains of São Mamede in Portugal and it will be available in the summer of 2008. The purpose of having a profile on myspace is to interact with other artists, show their work and maybe colaborate in some songs. They´re also looking for a record deal.
