Jester Jack Band

About Me

Back in the Fall of 2006, three musicians with separate musical backgrounds came together and started jamming. Their sound relied on a solid rhythm section and well constructed rock songs. The main songwriter for the band is Jester Jack. He has travelled with former projects such as Rubix Wheel and Current, covering ground in cities and towns in and around Ohio.
Jeff Kassner plays bass and sings backup for the band. Honing his skills in bands such as Downcyde and Battle Sound, Jeff played shows throughout Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.
It wasn't until later that Jeff began playing bass at the Recording Workshop, doing session work and learning the fine art of recording music. He played with jazz and rock groups at shows and festivals and is currently the bassist for Jester Jack Band.
Phil has been playing drums all his life. He is a natural on the drumkit, and has played in venues all over Ohio. Phil joined J.J.B. to complete the band and add his intense energy.
J.J.B. has performed at bars, festivals, and benefit concerts from 2007 onward, gaining a following and honing their sound with added harmonies and backing vocals. They also played Ohio Hempfest and Peace through Music Fest in '08.
