At the public library about once per week, knocking kids out of my way to get to the new arrivals, about once per week at one bookstore or another (used bookstores like Rainbows, Jelly's, and The Book Rack being some of my faves). When I'm in Portland, I spend a day in Powells. Seattle: Elliott Bay Book Co. On the nightstand: Barbara Walker's stitch pattern treasuries and the cheeseball murder mystery of the week. I am slowly working my way through Godel, Escher, Bach: an Eternal Golden Braid.
